1. Is Saint Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro an Autonomous College?

Yes. Saint Claret College, Ziro has been granted Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and continues to be affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU). The College designs its own curriculum, conducts examinations, and awards grades in accordance with UGC regulations.

2. What programmes are offered at SCCZ?

The College offers Undergraduate Programmes in Arts, Commerce, Business Administration, Social Work, Mass Communication, and other disciplines, as well as Postgraduate Programmes in selected subjects. It also offers Certificate Courses, Value-Added Courses, and skill-based programmes.

3. What is the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP)?

The FYUGP is implemented in accordance with NEP 2020 and the UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCFUGP). Students may complete a 3-Year UG Degree, continue for a 4-Year Honours Degree, or opt for a 4-Year Honours with Research Degree, with multiple entry and exit options.

4. Is CUET compulsory for admission?

Admissions shall be made in accordance with the admission policy prescribed by the affiliating university and adopted by the College. Wherever applicable, CUET-UG scores shall be considered. The College will notify the admission criteria for each academic session.

5. How can I apply for admission?

Candidates may apply through the online admission portal available on the College website or through any other mode notified by the College. The admission notification will contain detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, and important dates.

6. What documents are required at the time of admission?

Applicants are generally required to submit the Class X Certificate, Class XII Marksheet, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate (where applicable), passport-size photographs, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Inner Line Permit (for non-Arunachalee students), and any other documents prescribed by the College.

7. Does the College provide hostel facilities?

Yes. The College has separate hostels for male and female students within the campus. Hostel admission is subject to availability of seats and compliance with the Hostel Admission Policy.

8. Are scholarships available?

Yes. Students may avail themselves of various Government Scholarships, including the APST Stipend and UGC scholarships, as well as several institutional scholarships and endowment scholarships instituted by the College and its benefactors, subject to eligibility criteria.

9. Does the College offer placement and career guidance?

Yes. The College has a Career Guidance and Placement Cell that organizes career counselling, placement drives, skill development programmes, competitive examination coaching, entrepreneurship initiatives, and interactions with employers and industry experts.

10. Are internships compulsory?

Yes. Internships are an integral part of the curriculum in accordance with NEP 2020. Students are required to complete internships, fieldwork, or community engagement activities as prescribed by their respective programmes.

11. What is the medium of instruction?

The medium of instruction is English for all academic programmes offered by the College.

12. Does SCCZ support digital learning?

Yes. The College provides students with access to digital classrooms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-books, e-journals, online databases, multimedia learning resources, and ICT-enabled teaching-learning facilities to promote blended and technology-enabled education.

13. Is attendance compulsory?

Yes. Students are expected to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each course to be eligible to appear for the End Semester Examination, subject to the provisions of the College regulations.

14. Can students participate in sports and co-curricular activities?
